At Navyatha, we create magic out of Khun Fabric, an age-old weave from Guledagudda in Karnataka’s Bagalkot district. We believe fashion knows no boundaries of gender or size. Our custom-designed outfits are thoughtfully crafted to complement every body type, allowing you to carry them with comfort and confidence while celebrating the rich heritage of Indian weaves. With a spirit of experimentation, we constantly explore new possibilities—not just in design, but also in fabric innovation. Our upcoming collection, “Harmony 2025,” introduces never-before-seen pastel shades in Khun, a step towards redefining tradition for the modern era.

Our Story
A Journey of determination and excellence
Namaste! I am Rekha Katti Raveendraraj, a homemaker turned entrepreneur. With deep-rooted respect for our traditions and a lifelong passion for fashion, I decided to return to college at the age of 45 to pursue a diploma in Fashion from XYZ College. This journey gave birth to Navyatha—a Sanskrit word meaning fashion. Over centuries, India’s rich and diverse textiles have seen a decline, taking with them invaluable traditional art forms. Determined to make a difference, I chose Khun Fabric, a heritage weave, to uplift native artisans and reimagine it for today’s world. In 2021, I founded Navyatha Ethnic Fashions with a mission to preserve this legacy while making it relevant for modern tastes.
Ever since then, we have been committed to carry forward this legacy of Khun Fabric and make it relevant for modern tastes. Navyatha has been recognized and awarded at various levels. Be it winning the "Senior Woman Entrepreneur award" or the "Ubuntu Star Award", we have been recognised for our work. There were many feathers added to our cap along the way and we continue to strive for excellence.
